However, freezing rain remains possible this morning.</p><p>Warning statements for most Northeast Texas counties have been downgraded to a Winter Weather Advisory. Collin, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Rains, Rockwall, Van Zandt, Wood and other counties in Northeast Texas are under a Winter Weather Advisory. Red River and Bowie Counties remain under a Winter Storm Warning.</p> Sat, 23 Nov 2013 23:33:03 +0000 Mark Haslett 46084 at http://ketr.org Rain, freezing rain possible Monday Heavy rain expected Wednesday, Thursday http://ketr.org/post/heavy-rain-expected-wednesday-thursday <p>A storm system will be moving through the region Wednesday and into Thursday that could bring much needed rain to the area.</p><p>As of Oct. 22, most of the region is in a moderate drought with much of Lamar county remaining under extreme drought conditions.</p><p>While the rain will be beneficial to the region in many ways, it will also cause major problems. The system is expected to move in Wednesday afternoon and will be in the region through Thursday.
