New trial date set in local murder case

Greenville – A trial in a capital murder case involving the death of a Commerce man has been delayed. Trial for Michael Anthony Green of Greenville was expected to begin early next month, but Thursday was postponed until July.

Native American celebration tomorrow in Greenville

Greenville – This years Greenville Pow-Wow is expected to be bigger and better than ever. Tomorrow's Native American event will feature a variety of cultural dances as well as teaching seminars on the Greenville High School campus.

Date set in Greenville murder trial

Greenville – A trial date has now been set in a local murder case. A tentative date of April 7 has been set for Gerald Wayne Johnson Jr., who's pleaded not guilty to one count of murder in the shooting death of Carlton Collier of Greenville last July.
