Arrests made in Campbell robbery

Campbell – Two people have been arrested in connection to a Campbell robbery last week. An Arkansas couple is in custody and are charged with aggravated robbery in last Thursday's alleged holdup.

Christmas parade this week in Commerce

Commerce – The annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade takes place this week. Trophies will be awarded in several categories, including best theme, best float and best vehicle. Entry forms may be picked up at the Chamber office downtown. Events prior to the parade include the downtown Christmas tree lighting as well as performances by the Commerce High School jazz band. Thursday evening's festivities get underway around five with the parade at seven.

Greenville Man sentenced for robbery shooting

Greenville – A man has been sentenced to prison for a robbery shooting case that occurred last December. Nicholas Dewayne Terry of Greenville was sentenced to 36 years in prison.

Decision could be made in infant murder

Greenville – A resolution could come today in a nearly four year old capital murder case involving a Greenville woman. Abigail Louann Whytus has been accused of killing her infant daughter in 2004.
