Dam breached in Wood County

Wood County – Several Wood County residents were forced to evacuate their homes yesterday after water breached the Victory Lake dam.

It primarily affected those near Highway 37 and County Road 2330. No injuries were reported.

Sand bags and railroad ties would eventually be put on top of the damn in hopes to stop the water.
