Commerce – A Commerce man is behind bars for allegedly shooting at a vehicle that was transporting a child.
Officers were informed Wednesday afternoon that the suspected gunman had entered a residence in the 2300 block of Washington.
Christopher Luckey would eventually come out of the house voluntarily and later arrested on a charge of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm. Luckey was listed in the Hunt County Jail on $100,000 bond as of Thursday.
Commerce – The City of Commerce is exploring the possibility of a multi-purpose facility to house a recreation center, library and pool.
Councilmen Tony Henry had requested the item be placed on the agenda. During a special session Tuesday night, the full council elected to move forward on appointing a task force to explore interest from the public on the matter.
