Commerce – The Commerce Economic Development Corporation has finalized a severance agreement with former executive director Jeanette Burnett, who stepped down from the post Nov. 22.
In a special meeting Wednesday, board members approved a gross payment to Burnett of $5,718.28, as determined by 236 hours of unused vacation time. The severance is to be paid on December 31, at which time Burnett's health benefits will expire.
