Dallas – A Lamar County boy continues his miraculous recovery, one month after being shot in the head by his mother.
Ten-year-old Dalton Young underwent yet another surgery on Thanksgiving in Dallas to repair his skull, and is said to be in high spirits.
Dalton's mother, Salida Young, reportedly shot him in the head at their home in the Lamar County community of Powderly on Oct. 25. She is also believed to have shot and killed Kayla Roberts, before turning the gun on herself.
