Greenville – More frontage roads along I-30 in Greenville are going one-way. TxDOT and contractor Austin Bridge and Road will be converting the frontage roads between Monty Stratton Parkway and State Highway 34/Wesley Street to a one-way system starting Monday.
As soon as the frontage roads are converted to one-way the Monty Stratton westbound entrance ramps and the Monty Stratton eastbound exit ramps will be striped and become fully operational.
West Tawakoni – The status of a temporary restraining order is on the docket today that prevents the City of West Tawakoni from firing Police Chief Jack Schulzt . Schultz was suspended and an officer fired in October amid allegations it was due to their allegiance to the Tea Party movement.
Greenville, TX – Kenneth Eugene Katzenmaier, 27, who also has listed an address in Merit in court records, has been charged with eight counts of burglary of a habitation and one count each of evading arrest, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempted escape, escape and possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held on no bond on at least three of the charges.

Tipsters should begin their message with "HuntTips," followed by the crime information, and send to "CRIMES" or 274637.
Once the text is received, the sender will receive a unique tip identification number. This secure application allows the tipster and the investigator to have two-way dialog while keeping the individual anonymous.

Greenville – At approximately 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Greenville Fire-Rescue responded to a house fire at 3003 Washington Street. Upon arrival the upstairs area of the two-story house was heavily involved in fire. An interior attack was attempted but conditions worsened and the ladder truck was used to extinguish the blaze.
