Jerrod Knight Station Manager The Morning Blend Host/Producer Jerrod
graduated from A&M-Commerce with a B.S. in radio and television
broadcasting in 2005, ready to take on numerous roles at prominent
radio organizations, which have included Susquehanna-Pfaltzgraff (now
Cumulus,) Omni Communications Corporation, and The Ranch Radio Network.
With experience on-the-air, and in every position behind-the-scenes,

Kevin Jefferies Operations Manager Midday Host As
KETR Operations Manager, Kevin Jefferies is responsible for making sure
you hear what you’re supposed to be hearing on FM 88.9 and ketr.org.
Since 1998, KETR listeners have heard Kevin in multiple roles. Kevin
also has many behind the scenes responsibilities, including the
supervision of student broadcasters. Kevin is a graduate of the
Radio-Television program at Texas A&M University-Commerce. A
nearly lifelong resident of northeast Texas, Kevin is an alum of Ford

Scott Harvey News Director Scott
comes to KETR from KXCV/KRNW, the public radio stations based at his
alma mater, Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. Among
Scott’s responsibilities were news reporter, staff announcer, and
assistant producer of the Bearcat Sports Network. Scott has also
worked in commercial radio in St. Joseph, Missouri, and the student
managed and operated FM station at Northwest Missouri State. Scott was
born and raised in Shenandoah, Iowa, the hometown of the Everly

Matt Meinke Notably Texan Host Born in
Dallas, Texas, Matt moved to the Sulphur Springs area in 1990 and
settled in Commerce shortly thereafter. Having dreamed of working in
radio since childhood, he began working at KETR while taking
Radio-Television courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993.
Matt has transitioned from a part-time worker and pupil of KETR, to the
station’s Chief Announcer/Producer and supervisor of student
broadcasters. A familiar voice of 88-9 KETR, Matt has hosted such shows
as The Late Nite Lion, and can currently be heard as host of Notably

"Railroad Bill" Ogden The Bluegrass Special Host W.R. "Railroad Bill" Ogden has been playing bluegrass
music on KETR since November of 1983. Professor and Head of the university's Department
of Secondary and Higher Education, Bill, an active musician, has
played and is playing (guitar/mandolin/bass) in a number of area bands. A survivor
of the western New York folk music scene, where he opened for name
national groups including the Lettermen and the Beach Boys, Bill is married
to the lovely Nancy from Wisconsin, and has three children. Bill lives

David Hervas Latin Soul Host David, host of KETR's "Latin Soul," was born in Madrid, Spain, and moved to the United States in 1999 to attend school. After teaching Spanish in a variety of educational settings including a New Orleans middle school, UT-Arlington, and Tulane University, he accepted a teaching job with the literature and languages department at A&M-Commerce. It was at Tulane University that Hervas found his ear for radio at the university's student-run radio station, WTUL. He then went on to host "The Latin Journey" at WUTL from 2003-2005. The program has since evolved into "Latin Soul," airing Tuesdays from 9 to 11 p.m., and features Latin Jazz, as well as other Latin rhythms and international jazz styles. |  | Katie London Afternoons Katie is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce, with a B.S. in
Radio and Television. Her calling for radio came at a very early age, when
teacher comments on her report card consistently indicated that she would "talk
too much". As a university student, Katie volunteered her time at KETR on the
morning show, which evolved into becoming your weekday Afternoon Drive host.
Her overwhelming passion for music assists in keeping you informed about many of
