Ways To Connect

After a string of 4 losses, the Commerce Tigers tried to turn their luck around versus the visiting Raiders of Sunnyvale on Friday night, playing without their injured quarterback Sam Wells.

The scoring in the first half of the game began with Sunnyvale posting a field goal early in the first quarter to take a 0-3 lead, but The Tigers answered with a touchdown in the 2nd to go on top 7 to 3. The momentum switched to Sunnyvale's favor for the rest of the half, however,  capitalizing on multiple Tiger fumbles with 2 more touchdowns. At halftime, it was Commerce- 7, Sunnyvale- 24.

After a Bye last week, Commerce returned to action Friday night at Van Alstyne, as the Tigers tried to break a 3 game losing streak against a hot Panther's team.

With the Commerce Tigers on a Bye this week, KETR brought a special Game Of The Week featuring Van Alstyne at Caddo Mills.

The scoring was back and forth for much of the match, with only a touchdown separating the teams at halftime, but in the second half, it was visiting Van Alstyne who exerted their offensive muscle to put more points on the board.

The final score: Caddo Mills- 27, Van Alstyne- 35.
