Cooper Elementary first grade students performed 100 acts of kindness for the 100th day of school Tuesday morning by delivering 100 canned goods to the Delta Hope House and then giving 100 hugs to the residents of Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation.
The students were provided a tour of the Delta Hope House as well as orange juice and cookies for their kindness to those in need.
Many of the students also observed the 100th day by dressing as if they were 100 years old with vintage clothing and hats.
