Commerce – The 10th Annual Commerce Business and Industry Appreciation Luncheon was held yesterday, and paid special recognition to businesses in Commerce for more than 20 years. Executive Director of the Commerce Economic Development Corporation Jeanette Moser felt the event was a big success.
Moser: It's really heart-warming to me when you look at all of the businesses and industries that have been here such a long time that they've made their homes here, they've made their living here, and they've also provided services and jobs to people in Commerce.
Fifteen businesses have been in Commerce for more than 50 years, and 58 have seen 20 to 49 years of operation.
