Commerce – Early voting totals are in for the Commerce ISD's tax ratification election. 216 people showed up early to cast their ballot.
Early voting ended Tuesday. Those who have yet to cast their vote have from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday to do so at the Commerce Middle School Library, 606 Culver St.
The district is asking voters to approve a 13 cent tax rate hike to fund a nearly $700,000 budget shortfall.
