30 East Music Festival exceeds expectations

While the weather might have delayed the annual 30 East Music Festival in Sulphur Springs last weekend, the event made a huge comeback Saturday with clear skies and over 1,000 people in attendance.

“I fully expect this to be even bigger next year,” said Sulphur Springs City Manager, Marc Maxwell.

Some of the performing artists included natives of Cooper: Lauren Taylor, Amanda Goodman-Pruitt, Koe Wetzel & the Konvicts, Emily Elbert, Hannah Kirby, Kate Hearne Band, Ducado Vega and Zenya Vi, and The Effinays.

There was many different vendors at the festival, they ranged from food trucks to the metal and wooden crafts at The Market on Celebration Plaza.
