Pickton – Two people are killed following a head on collision on Highway 11 East between Pickton and Winnsboro Sunday night.
The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Juana Layya, of Scroggins, and 10-year-old Aubrey Mullinex, of Winnsboro. Layya was pronounced dead at the scene, while Mullinex died after being airlifted to Children's Hospital in Dallas.
There had still been no word on what caused the crash at last report.
