Cooper – A Cooper resident was killed yesterday after wrecking his vehicle along FM 1880.
17-year-old Travis Michael Rushing reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway and hit a tree.
He later died from his injuries at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs. Rushing's body has been sent for an autopsy.
