Paris – A Paris cyclist is killed following an early morning accident Wednesday in the 1200 block of Bonham Street.
Officials believe the bicycle and a vehicle were both eastbound when 78-year-old Richard Davenport apparently turned in front of the car.
Davenport was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Alfred Zermeno.
The initial investigation found no signs of foul play, but authorities are continuing to look into the wreck. They also believe alcohol was not a contributing factor.
