Donations are being sought in support of family members of a man, woman and infant child killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 69.

A gofundme account has been established in memory of Torrey and Tiana Brown and their 1-year-old girl Alaska.

The three were in a sport utility vehicle which collided head-on with an 18 wheeler near the city of Leonard at around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to reports, the sport utility vehicle was northbound on the highway and for an as yet unknown reason veered into the southbound lanes, where it hit the 18-wheeler.

The site (www.gofundme.com/hqwraw) which was began Tuesday evening by Chris and Tracy Kitts indicated the Browns did not have any insurance and noted the officer who pulled up to assist at the crash scene discovered it was his brother-in-law, sister-in-law and niece.

The Browns also have several other children, and their family members are seeking donations toward the cost of funeral arrangements, which have not yet been announced.

As of Wednesday evening, the account had accumulated $3,950 through 90 contributions.
