ACTF Theater Festival begins on A&M-Commerce campus

Commerce – The Kennedy Center/American College Theater Festival begins today on the A&M-Commerce campus. Seven plays from seven different community colleges and universities will be presented through Saturday. Shows run on the main stage of the University Playhouse at noon and 8pm through Friday, with a full day of performances Saturday, including a showcase of six 10-minute plays written by students, in the studio theater of the A&M-Commerce Performing Arts Center. A&M-Commerce will be presenting the final performance of Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke as part of the festival Friday at 8pm.
