Greenville – Emotional testimony yesterday on the first day of trial regarding the death of a Commerce Code Enforcement officer. Prosecutors said Adam Ward gunned down Michael Walker in cold blood in 2005. The defense said Ward was the product of a severely dysfunctional family, and was just playing a role in an on-going conflict between his father and the Commerce City Government.
