Air Ambulance team provides training for medical personnel

By Scott Harvey

Greenville – Greenville's Air Evac Lifeteam recently held its Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) class for about 10 area nurses and paramedics.

The training course helps individuals develop skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.

The service provides emergency health care and rapid medical transport to rural communities, plus outreach education classes for medical personnel.

Most of the participants from this most recent course were from Greenville and Wylie.
