Alba-Golden ISD receives gift

Alba-Golden – The Alba-Golden ISD received a nice gift from an alumnus earlier this week a donation worth more than $1.7 million. Golden native Harold Simmons donated personal stock to go towards the construction of a new field house, a four-court tennis complex, driving range, and a putting green. Simmons has had a highly successful career as an in investor and entrepreneur.
