Alice previews Fourth of July weekend releases

This week on Movie Picks with Alice Reese, Alice previews the movies coming out on this holiday weekend.

First and foremost, there is Magic Mike XXL, starring Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, and Matt Bomer. If that isn't enough of a reason to see the movie, we can also add in Adam Rodriguez. The sequel has most of the major players on a road trip to get Magic Mike back in the game. There's some interesting guest cast members and cameos, and Alice thinks it might be better than the 2012 original.

Many of you may think Terminator Genisys is first and foremost, so we'll call it a tie. Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in this fifth installment of the Terminator series. Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Emilia Clarke, J.K. Simmons, and other talents round out the cast, making this movie seem like it could be a hit with critics as well as fans.

Infinitely Polar Bear is a smaller movie starring Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana as a married couple with some unusual strains on their life. The movie is based on the life of the film's writer and director, Maya Forbes.

Faith of Our Fathers is a faith-based movie that is expecting a wide-release, so you might find it in Greenville or Paris. It follows two sons as they pay respect to their fathers despite the differing faiths of the two men.

The Wolfpack follows the life of 6 boys in New York City that were locked in their apartment by their father. They learned to cope through their love of movies, and started to act out the movies with props and costumes. Alice says it is supposed to be sensational, and she expects it will be.
