Local movie critic Alice Reese predicted earlier this year that one of a few movies has the change to overtake The Avengers in box office earnings.
The Amazing Spider-man may be on its way.
The film is better than any of the trio that starred Tobey MaGuire, says Reese. Andrew Garfield of The Social Network fame "is more suited for the part."
Alice also previews Savages, where marijuana growers face off against the Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped their shared girlfriend.
