This week on Movie Picks with Alice Reese, Alice reviews the super creepy looking film, The Visit, Learning to Drive starring Patricia Clarkson and Sir Ben Kingsley, and Before We Go, directed and starred in by Chris Evans.

The Visit is M. Night Shyamalan latest film, and one Alice says could turn the tide on his previous streak of sub par movies. A pair of siblings is sent to visit their grandparents in an isolated house, weird stuff starts to happen, and then there's a twist. Alice recommends this but does warn of the multiple segments of shaky cam (where the camera is handheld and could cause nausea).

Learning to Drive look at two people who meet while their lives are going through a major change, Patricia Clarkson's character is going through a messy divorce and has to figure out how to do a multitude of things by herself she's never done, and Sir Ben Kingsley's character is awaiting his impending arranged marriage to a complete stranger. Alice thought it was charming, but didn't get sentimental so she definitely recommends it.

Before We Go is directed by Chris Evans. Evans also takes the co-lead role along with Alice Eve. Two strangers are stuck in New York City with no money and no phones overnight, they bond, work together, and try to figure out their lives. Alice was pleasantly surprised by this look at Evans, showing he's more than just a super hero.
