Alleged fake lawyer to be transferred to Oklahoma

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – Jeffery Scott Partlow, the Dallas man accused of impersonating a lawyer, is to be transferred from the Hunt County Jail after waiving extradition.

He faces a revocation in bond in Creek County, Oklahoma for a 2008 conviction of driving under the influence. According to the warrant, Partlow failed to report to his probation officer and failed to pay court costs, among other offenses.

He was again arrested in October 2010, after allegedly appeared in the Hunt County Court at Law #1 representing a client in a misdemeanor case. Partlow has since admitted he is not an attorney, and received his degree as a paralegal from a mail-order correspondence school.
