Commerce – An academic panel will present two short talks on the concept of Founders' intent and how modern Americans understand the Constitution.
A student group will also appear in period costume and offer a short dramatization. The speakers for Constitution Day will be Dr. John Smith, associate professor of history and Dr. Jeffery Herndon, associate professor of political science.
The departments of history and political science, assisted by University College, sponsor the event.
The program will begin at 11 AM in Conference Room A of the Rayburn Student Center. Refreshments will be provided.
