Texas A&M University-Commerce Athletic Director Ryan Ivey says the recent Thursday night home game against East Texas Baptist was so successful, with more than 6,000 in attendance, that A&M-Commerce will host a Thursday night game against next season, against NCAA Division II power Adams State of Colorado. And Ryan says the Lone Star Conference has been having some preliminary discussions with the non-football Heartland Conference about a merger.
