Greenville – An alumni reception for Texas A&M University-Commerce graduates from the Greenville area is set for next week.
Assistant Director of Alumni Relations Jane Martyn says the event will involve efforts to raise money for the Greenville Alumni Scholarship Endowment.
Tuesday's event begins at 5:30 p.m. from Landon Winery downtown. According to Martyn, the Winery is donating a portion of the wine sales that evening to the scholarship.
Students from not only Greenville ISD, but Greenville Christian and Phoenix Charter School are eligible for the scholarship. Those who would like to attend can RSVP at 903-886-5792.
Last October's alumni reception in Sulphur Springs raised $10,000 for Hopkins County students.
