Over half the more than 800 employees at Texas A&M University-Commerce financially support the school. Each year, they are recognized at the Bridge Builder's luncheon.
Thanks were given by Dr. Keith McFarland, A&M-Commerce President and CEO, Mick Trusty, Chairman of the Alumni Association, Sylvia Kelley, A&M-Commerce Vice President for Institutional Advancement, and Alicia Wittkopf, A&M-Commerce Coordinator for Planned Giving.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Roy Rhodes, grew up in the cotton fields south of Royse City. Rhodes earned two degrees from A&M-Commerce before launching his career as an educator and for 25 years was a psychotherapist and consultant to the oil and gas industry.
