A&M-Commerce honors Greenville businessman

By Brad Kellar/Bill Oliver

Commerce, TX –

Jack Finney of Greenville was honored Tuesday at a luncheon at Texas A&M University-Commerce. The 91 year old businessman/entrepreneur, whose mother attended Mayo College, the predecessor of A&M-Commerce, recently donated $500,000 towards the school's new music building. The concert hall will be named in honor of Mr. Finney and his late wife, Lou.
