Sulphur Springs – Texas A&M University-Commerce Police Chief Donna Spinato will be the featured speaker during a ceremony in Sulphur Springs Saturday to honor area law enforcement.
The 3rd Annual Bill Dirks Awards will be presented Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Cypress Center on Como Street. Bill Dirks was the first African American Sheriff of Hopkins County.
Nearly two dozen law enforcement members will be recognized for their roles in bettering the community.
