Greenville – A Texas A&M University-Commerce administrator is the guest speaker at this week's Boy Scouts of America event.
The 2011 Tawakoni District Friends of Scouting Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday at noon in the Fellowship Hall of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville.
A&M-Commerce President Dan R. Jones will be the guest speaker.
The event is the annual fundraiser for the Tawakoni District, which includes all of Hunt and Rains counties, as well as Royse City. The Boy Scouts of America is celebrating its 101st Anniversary this year.
