A&M-Commerce Presidential updates

Commerce, TX –

Texas A&M University-Commerce President Keith McFarland said a committee this week interviewed 5 potential architects for the school's new Music Building and Concert Hall. The committee is composed of staff and administrators from the Commerce campus and officials from the A&M System. Dr. McFarland said construction is scheduled to start in just over one year.

The President not only introduced the Lions' new Athletic Director, Carlton Cooper, but announced the title "interim" was replaced with permanent for a head coach. Dr. McFarland said the decision was recently made to make Rich Lawrence permanent head coach of the A&M-Commerce track and cross country teams.
