Canyon, Texas – The A&M-Commerce women's basketball team is headed to round two of the Lone Star Conference tournament tonight. After a dramatic win over Tarleton earlier this week, the Lions will head to West Texas A&M to decide who will win the Lone Star Conference Championship.
The Lions are the only LSC North team to advance to round two of the women's tournament. The ladies will face a tough West Texas team that ranks 13th in scoring nationally and come into the tournament as the #1 seed out of the LSC South. The Lady Buffs of West Texas won earlier in a regular season match-up, 93-75 in December.
Tip-off is set for 6pm tonight, with live coverage beginning here on 88.9 at 5:45.
