St. Joseph, MO – The A&M-Commerce women's basketball team won at the buzzer Saturday night 73-72 at Missouri Western to advance to the third round of the NCAA Division II playoffs.
With 5.2 seconds remaining, after the Griffons took the lead, Britney Jordan took the ball down court and found Katredia Mosley, who scored the winning shot.
The Lions, who handed Missouri Western their only home court loss this season, will play Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas Monday night for the NCAA Division II South Central regional title.
