Commerce – A&M-Commerce linebacker J.D. Hearn continues his excellent play to be ranked as the top tackler for the second time this season according to NCAA Division 2 rankings through October 8th. Hearn is averaging over 13 tackles per game and has 80 tackles in just six games this season. The Mesquite native has helped lead the Lions to an undefeated conference schedule and a 3-3 overall record. Hearn has also notched two sacks and one interception on the season.
The Lions are back in action Saturday after a week off, facing Southeastern Oklahoma for a 2pm kick-off.
