BONHAM - The Bonham City Council on Monday voted down a measure that would have required the city manager to also serve as executive director of the economic development corporation.
Council members voted 4-2 against an amendment to the BEDCo by-laws.
City Manager Corby Alexander is already serving as interim executive director of the corporation.
