Texas A&M University-Commerce running back and kickoff returner Nabil El-Amin was picked the Lone Star Conference North Division special teams player of the week.
El-Amin, a junior from Rochester, New York, returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown against Central Oklahoma. That tied a Memorial Stadium record first set in 2003.
El-Amin joins Daniel Swaim, Trent Miller, and Terry Mayo as Lions football players receiving LSC honors this season.
