Greenville – David Earl Hickman, of Royse City, had been scheduled for trial beginning Dec. 6. But during a Wednesday hearing, a continuance was granted in the case, resetting the trial for April 18.
Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty for Hickman, who's charged with the murder of Jason Harrington, of Quinlan.
The other suspect in the case, Tracie Danielle Alphin, does not currently have a trial date set.
Hickman and Alphin are alleged to have shot and killed Harrington in the course of a committing a robbery in October 2008.
