Quitman – The murder retrial in a 2009 drive-by shooting in Winnsboro that killed a 24-year-old mother has again ended in a mistrial.
20-year-old Ty Evans was alleged to have shot Anna Marie Moore as she was sitting in her living room. For the second time, a jury could not reach a verdict, issuing the ruling on Friday.
Friends of the victim tell reporters they don't understand the ruling, and want justice.
A second person accused in Moore's murder, Demarcus Hearne, is expected in court next month.
