Greenville, TX –
An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of Carlton Collier that occurred on July 1, 2007, in the 1400 block of Beauchamp Street in Greenville.
On September 4, 2007, officers with the Greenville Police Department arrested 22 year old Gerald D. Weatherall II of Lancaster, Texas, on misdemeanor warrants. Based on facts revealed in the investigation of Collier's death, Greenville Police Department Investigator Warren Mitchell served an arrest warrant on Weatherall for murder in connection with the death of Carlton Collier.
Weatherall is being held in the Hunt County Jail and his bond has been set at $500,000.00. The homicide investigation is still under investigation by the Greenville Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
