Longview – Two more suspicious devices were found in east Texas mailboxes on Tuesday.
U.S. Postal Inspector Amanda McMurrey says the devices were found in a mail collection box in Longview and in a residential mailbox southeast of the city.
An apparent pipe bomb was found in the mail collection box. A description of the other device found was not given. There were no explosions and no injuries.
The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is assisting the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and local law enforcement in their investigation.
