Hunt County – 19 year old Brandon Dale Woodruff was in the latest pretrial hearing Thursday with charges of capital murder in connection with the deaths of his parents. Woodruff has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The bodies of Woodruff's parents were found in October 2005 in their home northeast of Royse City. The couple had just moved from Heath. The Woodruffs had been shot and/or stabbed, according to an indictment against Woodruff.
No trial date has been set in the case. Woodruff is being held on $1 million bond.
