Arraignment held in child endangerment case

By Brad Kellar

New Boston – An arraignment has been held in connection with a child endangerment case. Debra Ann Williams, of New Boston, has pleaded not guilty to the charge, for allegedly helping transport two children across North Texas in the back of a U-Haul truck last June. Williams had been a wanted fugitive after she failed to appear for an arraignment hearing in March on the endangering a child indictment, but was returned to the Hunt County Jail Sept. 12. An interim hearing date in the case has been set for Oct. 28.
