Arraignment held in Greenville shooting

Greenville – An arraignment has been held in connection to a Greenville shooting case. 70 year-old Billy Frank Nelson, of Greenville, pleaded not guilty Monday to allegations he shot a family member last year. Gibson is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence. A tentative trial date has been set for September 14. Nelson was alleged in the indictment recently returned by the Hunt County Grand Jury of using a pistol to shoot a female member of the family on May 6, 2008. Nelson was arrested by the Greenville Police Department the same day.
