Arson Suspected in Boat Explosion

No one was hurt in the Sunday fire aboard a 70-foot-long double-deck, paddlewheel party boat on Austin’s Lady Bird Lake.

 Arson is expected after the boats’ propane tanks exploded and sent the burning empty vessel adrift. The explosion and fire also damaged two smaller vessels and the dock where they were berthed.
