Greenville – An aggravated assault charge has led to a probation sentence. Christopher Brandon Mobley, of Greenville, was alleged to have used a tire iron to attack another man in April 2009.
Mobley had previously pleaded not guilty. He pleaded guilty Wednesday.
Mobley and another man were alleged to have approached two brothers in a parking lot in the 4400 block of Wesley St, asking whether the brothers had been at a fight the day before.
When one of the men said he had been at the altercation, Mobley allegedly hit him over the head with a tire iron.
He was placed on five years probation, 200 hours of community service and ordered to anger management classes.
