Commerce – Members of the Commerce Skatepark Project invite you to a public awareness meeting Monday night at Wings & Things on the Downtown Square.
The project is aimed at developing a skateboarding, rollerblading and biking facility at Centennial Park. Fundraising and grant options are currently being sought.
The Commerce City Council, who gave formal approval for the facility in December, has pledged to match the first $5,000 raised.
The group is looking to create an all cement skatepark, estimated to cost as much as $200,000.
