GREENVILLE - An arraignment hearing is scheduled today for a Hunt County man who failed to show up last month for his sentencing on an assault charge.
Charles Raymond Barns Jr. will also appear in court on a separate burglary indictment.
In February, a jury found Barns guilty of continuous violence against his family and not guilty of assault family violence. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison. But when Barns didn’t show for his sentencing he was indicted for bail jumping/failing to appear.
